About Charles Kile, Director
While working for my Tribe, I had a mission call to come to Raleigh, NC to do singles ministry. I didn't know anyone in Raleigh area. My parents were not happy that I was quitting my job and moving. In 1987 I drove to Raleigh in a $200 Ford Escort and all my earthly possessions. 16 years later in June of 2003, the city of Raleigh name a day after me because of my influence of my personal ministry. December 2016 marked my 20th year working for the North Carolina Department of Transportation in Construction Division.
I graduated with a Master of Arts in Christian Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC on December 13th 2019.
My ministry has expanded beyond singles to helping churches become multi-generational allowing their singles to follow the great commission in a community-wide singles ministry. Helping churches to become multi-generational by strengthening areas that the church sees as a priority in their planning. One example of doing this is: A midsize church has a women's ministry. They allow a single woman in the church to post a meet-up event of their women's ministry, encouraging single women to come. Then, at the women's event, having a single women's table, provide introductions, promote specific single women's event, etc.

History of Central Singles Ministry
It all started with Night on the Town in 1994 as a 1st date ministry which would eventually fail. However, God wasn't done with us yet. We would make some changes, realizing that there was much more of a need to connect disconnected singles adults then it was to provide a place for a first date. That when you allow single adults to come together in a safe enviroment, providing leadership and direction, conversation and food, the Holy Spirit will do the rest. And if they are meant to build a friendship that could lead to dating, that is fine, however this is not our main goal.
For over 20 years Night on the Town has met on the 4th Friday of the month in various restaurants and coffee shops in the Raleigh, NC area. We have seen hundreds of people come through our doors, from single never married, single again, widowed, single parents, younger, older and everything in between. We have seen numerous churches represented as well as many denominations.
As the years went on, we expanded into holiday events such as our Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks as well as supporting other areas ministries such as Connect 4 and The Singles Network. We have also expanded into others parts of NC including educating churches and pastors on who singles adults are and our needs. Recently our overall ministry name has changed to Central Singles Ministry allowing new doors and opportunities to open up to minister to single adults and churches throughout NC.

We post all of our events on our meetup page (called Raleigh Area Christian Singles Social Group). Meet up allows for last minute changes, chat/discussion, see who is attending an event and so forth. We also list and promote other ministry events we support. Join us today!
Luke 6:43-45 No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
